Common questions
Straight answers
Is the estimate really free?
Yes — free, and with no obligation. We come out, look the roof over, and give you a written number. If you decide to go another direction, that is fine. You will not get a phone call every week from us.
How long does a roof replacement take?
Most single-family homes are torn off and re-roofed in one to two days. Bigger or steeper roofs, or ones with a lot of deck repair, can run three. We tell you the expected number before we start, and we tell you right away if it changes.
Do you work with insurance claims?
We do. After a hail or wind storm we will inspect the roof for free and document what we find with photos so you have something solid to hand your adjuster. We will meet the adjuster on site if that helps. We do not chase claims or pressure anybody into filing one.
What happens to my yard and landscaping?
It gets covered before a single shingle comes off. Tarps over the shrubs and beds, plywood where we need it, dumpster on boards so it does not sink into the lawn. At the end of every day we run a rolling magnet across the yard and driveway for nails.
Can you match the shingles on a repair?
Usually, if the roof is not too old. Shingle colors do fade and lines get discontinued, so on an older roof a perfect match is not always possible — we will tell you honestly what it will look like before we do the work rather than after.
Do you charge for coming out to look at a leak?
No. Coming out and telling you what is wrong is free. You only pay if you hire us to fix it.
