Who we are
A crew of Amish craftsmen, rooted right here in Iowa
Good, hard, honest work at a fair price. That is the whole business plan, and it has not needed updating.
Every roof we put on is done by hand, with skills passed down through generations of builders. We take pride in showing up on time, working hard through the heat, and leaving you with something built to last.
There is no call center here and no sales department. When you call, you get somebody who has been on a roof. When we quote a job, the person who wrote the number is the person who will be standing on your house. And when we say we will be there Tuesday, we are there Tuesday.
No shortcuts. No gimmicks. No subcontracted crew you have never met showing up in an unmarked truck. From the first tear-off shovel to the last magnet pass across your lawn, it is our people on your property.
We work across Iowa — farmhouses and ranch homes, machine sheds and horse barns, shops and small commercial buildings. Some of it is a two-day shingle job. Some of it is a barn roof that has not been touched in forty years. We are glad to do either.

Why it matters
The roof is the one thing protecting everything else you own.
People shop roofs on price, and we understand why — it is a large number and it is not a fun one to spend. But a roof is not a commodity. Two quotes can look identical on paper and be completely different jobs once the shingles come off.
The difference is in the parts you will never see: whether the rotten deck got replaced or covered up, whether the old flashing got reused, whether the attic can actually breathe, whether the ice-and-water shield goes far enough up the eave for an Iowa February.
We would rather explain all of that to you honestly and lose the job to somebody cheaper than win it by staying quiet. That is the standard we hold ourselves to, and it is why most of our work comes from people who were told about us by a neighbor.
